1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Dinner Roll mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Dinner Roll is a mobile application that helps users discover recipes and restaurants. The App provides:

• Recipe suggestions and filtering options
• Restaurant discovery based on location
• Recipe saving and rating features (subscription required for some features)
• Chef following capabilities (Pro subscription)

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain and update your account information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

3.2 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, illegal, or harmful activities.

3.3 Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the Profile screen or the app menu. When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently deleted: your profile information, saved recipes, chef profile, subscription information, and uploaded images. However, recipes you have shared will be transferred to Dinner Roll Chef and remain available to the community, as per Section 5.1 (Recipe Ownership Transfer). This action cannot be undone. To delete your account, go to Profile > Account Deletion.

4. Subscriptions

4.1 Subscription Tiers

• Basic (Free): Limited features with advertisements
• Plus: Ad-free experience and recipe rating ($2.99/month or $30/year)
• Pro: All Plus features plus unlimited recipe saves, chef following, and social links ($4.99/month or $50/year)

4.2 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your device's App Store or Google Play account settings.

4.3 Payment

Payment is processed through Google Play or the Apple App Store. Prices may vary by region and are subject to change with notice.

4.4 Refunds

Refunds are handled according to the policies of Google Play or the Apple App Store. We do not provide direct refunds.

5. User Content

5.1 Recipe Ownership Transfer

By sharing a recipe through the Dinner Roll app, you hereby transfer and assign all rights, title, and interest in and to that recipe to Dinner Roll, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, and any other intellectual property rights. Once shared, the recipe becomes the exclusive property of Dinner Roll.

5.2 Other User Content

For other content you create or share ("User Content"), you grant us a license to:

• Use, reproduce, and display User Content within the App
• Modify User Content to ensure compatibility with the App
• Remove User Content that violates these Terms

You agree not to post content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or violates others' rights.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the App
• Use automated systems to access the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation
• Share your account with others
• Use the App to transmit malware or harmful code

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, recipes, and content, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute App content without permission
• Use our trademarks or logos without authorization
• Create derivative works based on the App

8. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Accuracy of recipe information or restaurant data
• Availability of features or content

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified through the App or via email. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts of jurisdiction.
